PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Dear Heavenly Father, Full of Grace!
I repent of my sins.
I ask You to forgive me,
For blaspheming You,
For living in sin.
Today I put my trust in Jesus,
The Son of God, the resurrected King.
Thank You for dying on the cross for me.
Thank You for paying the price of my sins.
Thank You for defeating Death,
And resurrecting from the Death.
I trust in You,
I open my heart to You.
Come and fill me with the Holy Spirit.
I believe I receive Forgiveness, Salvation, Eternal Life.
My destiny is in Your Hand.
I will not fear,
I will not be afraid,
Though they kill me,
Though they kill my body,
My spirit will be alive.
I will be with You for ever.
Thank You for saving me,
And accepting me.
I pray to the Father,
In the name of Jesus,
Amen.

LOVE

LOVE

Love is natural. Love is kindness. There are people who go after our humanity, that tell us that the light in our heart is a weakness. Don’t believe it. It is an old tactic of cruel people to kill the kindness in the name of virtue. There is nothing wrong with love. The message of our Saviour is love of our people. There are times in life when we feel lost. It happens. And it is a bond. We are all in it together.

Holy God We Praise Thy Name

Holy God We Praise Thy Name

Holy God, we praise thy name,
Lord of All, we bow before thee;
All on Earth thy sceptre claim,
All in Heaven above adore thee;
Infinite thy vast domain,
Everlasting is thy reign;
Infinite thy vast domain,
Everlasting is thy reign.

Hark the loud celestial hymn,
Angel choirs above are raising;
Cherubim and seraphim,
In unceasing chorus praising;
Fill the Heavens with sweet accord;
“Holy, holy holy Lord.”
Fill the Heavens with sweet accord;
“Holy, holy holy Lord.”

AR HYD Y NOS

Ar hyd y nos

Welsh
Holl amrantau’r sêr ddywedant
Ar hyd y nos
“Dyma’r ffordd i fro gogoniant,”
Ar hyd y nos.
Golau arall yw tywyllwch
I arddangos gwir brydferthwch
Teulu’r nefoedd mewn tawelwch
Ar hyd y nos.

O mor siriol, gwena seren
Ar hyd y nos
I oleuo’i chwaer ddaearen
Ar hyd y nos.
Nos yw henaint pan ddaw cystudd
Ond i harddu dyn a’i hwyrddydd
Rhown ein golau gwan i’n gilydd
Ar hyd y nos.

English
All the stars’ twinkles say
All through the night
“This is the way to the realm of glory,”
All through the night.
Darkness is another light
That exposes true beauty
The Heavenly family in peace
All through the night.

O, how cheerful smiles the star,
All through the night
To light its earthly sister
All through the night.
Old age is night when affliction comes
But to beautify man in his late days
We’ll put our weak light together
All through the night.

TUA BETHLEM DREF

TUA BETHLEM DREF

On To Bethlehem Town (Tua Bethlem Dref)

On to Bethlehem Town;
Join the crowd and travel down;
Down the road that leads us to the cradle.
Come all who are able.
Come, come to the stable with hearts full of joy,
As we kneel and pray.
Come and see the child,
With his mother Mary mild.
Come along and worship at the cradle.

There we’ll see the boy;
Hearts aglow with boundless joy;
In the everlasting word.
We will bow before Him.
Come, come and adore Him.
Bringing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
On to see Bethlehem Town;
Join the crowd and travel down.
Down the road that leads us to the cradle.

O HOLY NIGHT

O Holy Night

O Holy Night

The words and lyrics of the old carol ‘O Holy Night’ were written by Placide Cappeau de Roquemaure in 1847. Cappeau was a wine seller by trade but was asked by the parish priest to write a poem for Christmas. He obliged and wrote the beautiful words of the hymn. He then realised that it should have music to accompany the words and he approached his friend Adolphe Charles Adams(1803-1856). He agreed and the music for the poem was therefore composed by Adolphe Charles Adams. Adolphe had attended the Paris conservatoire and forged a brilliant career as a composer.

It was translated into English by John Sullivan Dwight (1812-1893).

O Holy Night
Christmas Carol Lyrics

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O holy night, O night divine!
O night, O holy night, O night divine!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
O’er the world a star is sweetly gleaming,
Now come the wisemen from out of the Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!

Truly He taught us to love one another,
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
