依世代的新派思想 E-Generation: career, fashion, life style, and philosophy

E世代,又名「依」世代,是现代新一代有性格的年青人的代名词。何谓E世代?E 就是 electronic 电子的, emotional 易动感情的, egocentric 自我中心的和 exigent 苛求的。 他们「依附」父母,「依附」朋友,「依」牙松扛,郁手郁脚(动手动脚),缩缩窒窒(付钱的时候吝啬),大发脾气,等人服侍,毫无礼貌以及不接受批评,这样的行为和性格,才叫做「酷」、「型」、「豪」、「潇洒」和「有性格」。

「依」世代人的思想认为越「乱」越好,「乱」得潇洒,「乱」得自豪,「乱」得臭美、「乱」得有理。从发型到衣装服饰,「依」世代「酷」人「九不答八」,牛仔裤穿几个大窟窿,裤头越低越有型,后面还可看见八月十五的「事业线」,上身坦露半边肉,老一辈认为这是「不修篇幅」,「依」世代认为是「酷」和「型」。

伸手牌的孩子们还有种天真烂漫,问妈妈要钱,妈妈说没有,伸手牌就叫妈妈到银行去「攞」!伸手牌从来没想过父母的钱有血、有泪、有汗。他们没有一个懂得储蓄,还先洗未来钱,只懂洗「胶」银纸(信用卡)。以前是「养儿防老」,现在是「越养越老」,「养得太老」。父母希望他们能独立,可是「依」世代长久依附娘家不愿走,父母贴钱让他们走也是赖死不走。伸手牌从来不想想应该自己独立赚钱,回馈父母,回馈家庭,回馈社会。你教他交友应小心,他说你不要「批评」他的朋友。

「依」世代人人手携一个第四代 iPod, iPhone, android, 人人猛「卒」(用大拇指拨动屏幕),人人都开始用大拇指「输入」,所以人人都变成「一哥」,连桌面电脑也落伍了,英女王也连声赞「好」,生活在虚拟世界里,去盲目地交友、谈恋爱、搞网上情。

「依」世代不懂礼貌,不知道尊敬老人和长辈,「信」朋友多过「信」自己亲人。迟到了,父母叫他们起床,他们说你「烦」;父母煮好饭叫他们吃,他们忙着上网,说[你叫他一次就够了」。只会吃,不会做。脏衣服让妈妈洗,自己找不到替换的干净衣服,便问妈妈为什么我的牛仔裤还没有洗。吃完饭从来不会自动去洗碗,自己的房间乱七八糟,碰也不碰吸尘器,浴缸用完不随即清洗,要后来者替他们拾脱发。家人关心他们,就说你「老土」。

在中国,香港有「三低」(参见 http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/cac_ccman/article?mid=1371),内地有「富二代」,都是一群害了「王子病」、「公主病」的人间寄生虫,他们有自己的性格、风格、形象。自以为是,不听人言,这就是咱们未来社会的「主人翁」,而「依」世代已经无可救药,他们的后代又会是怎样的呢?

「依」世代已成为一种趋势,一种风气。你可能认为上述是少数人的偏见而已,你可能是视若无睹、有眼无珠、不以为意,或是一味维护和纵容。如果你说只有「一小撮」少数人是如此,也就请你提出救救这「一小撮」的少数孩子们的方案来,你可别忘了这「一小撮」少数是全球人口的「一小撮」少数。你以为我们只要身教,他们就会有样学样,完事听从?他们是宁肯学自己的「酷」朋「型」友、宁肯浏览听从网上的「谷歌」之类的流言,也不愿接受老人、长辈和老师的劝诫和指导的。如果你是关心E世代的朋友,请你继续阅读下列有关文章。

Before you do the following 20 items, 1. forgive all no matter what, and forgive as soon as possible (forgiving instantaneously is the best), forgive all those who harm you, including yourself. 2. Ask for forgiveness from God and from all those you have harmed as soon as possible (asking instantaneously is the best), then follow the 20 keys to happiness below.
1. Compliment three people every day; to compliment a human being is to compliment the Tathagata. 每天赞叹3个人,赞叹人即是称赞如来。
2. Watch a sunrise. 看日出。
3. Be the first to say “Hello.” 首先跟别人打招呼。
4. Live beneath your means. 靠自己的力量生活。
5. Treat everyone as you want to be treated. 像自己希望得到善待一样善待他人。
6. Never give up on anybody; miracles happen.不对任何人绝望;奇迹随时会发生。
7. Remember someone’s name. 铭记每个人的名字。
8. Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage. 不要祈求得到什么东西,但可以祈求智慧与勇气。
9. Be tough-minded, but tender hearted. 意志要坚强,但心地要善良。
10. Be kinder than you have to be. 要比自己本质更仁慈。
11. Don’t forget that a person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.不要忘记一个人最伟大的情感需要是受人赞赏。

Wisdom Mudra

The morning sun was shining gently on English Bay in Vancouver, British Columbia. My heart was filled with warmth and gratitude while I practiced my daily walking meditation. I am the sun, I am the singing birds, I am the ocean, I am the woods, I am the mountains — yes, I am the Universe, and the Universe is me. This awareness first awakened in me at a Yoga Teachers Training Retreat in India in 2010, and from that moment on I’ve never looked back, moving ever forward on the transformational path of Buddhist thought.

In present day, Buddhism is often taught in two forms: religious Buddhism and philosophical Buddhism. The Buddha’s teachings are followed by many people who do not consider themselves religious, and who are not necessarily trained as priests. The Buddhist principles for living a healthy and happy life are practical and applicable to every detail of daily existence. These principles include basic knowledge of meditation and spirituality to provide guidance and support to anyone interested in walking a conscious path.

The essential nature of life is compassion, which can be cultivated and disseminated by every single living being in his or her life. People who cultivate compassion have been known to have been awakened, moved and transformed. As a student of mine said, “I am not the kind of person who believes things easily or because others do. I have to see things and experience them myself. Now, I’ve done just that, and I’m absolutely convinced.”

Seeing and reading, while valuable, is like counting the treasure of another. Come to experience your own essential being, and become the treasure.



早晨明媚的阳光轻轻照在不列颠哥伦比亚省温哥华英国海湾,我的心充满了温暖和感激,练习着每天的行禅。我是阳光,我是鸟鸣,我是海洋,我的森林,我是山- 是的,我是宇宙,宇宙就是我。这种意识第一次唤醒了我是2010年在印度的一个瑜伽教师训练营,由那一刻起,我从来没有回头,并且在佛教思想的道路上不断 转化和前进。

今天,佛法是经常通过宗教和哲学两种形式流传的。许多无宗教人士和僧团外的俗家子弟都遵行佛陀的教诲。佛教实用的原则,使人能过着健康和快乐的生活。这些原则适用于日常生活的每一个环节,它包括禅(或说是冥想)和灵性的基本知识,为任何有意修行的人提供指导和支持。

生命的本质是慈悲。人人都可一在自己生活中培养和推展慈悲。许多培养慈悲的人的生命就曾被唤醒、感动和转化。像我的一位学生说,“我不是那种谁都相信的人,或是人信我信的人。我要亲自看到和亲身经历才会相信。现在,我已看到了,也亲身经历过,所以我绝对相信。”

旁观和阅读虽然很有价值,但总是像数着人家的财富一样。为何不亲自前来体验一下自己存在的本质,让财富成为自己的。
